The best time to stage a maternity photo shoot is when you're between 31 to 35 weeks into pregnancy — the belly is round and prominent, said photographer Sofia Genato of The Stork Studio. “More moms are now looking for more than just studio portraits,” she added. If this sounds like you and you're looking for maternity shoot ideas, you've come to the right place! Here are a few themes you can take inspiration from:
1. Milk bath
Have a soft, feminine and stunning photo shoot with a milk bath theme. For the photo above, photographer Neva Michelle Santiago mixed coffee creamer and water to get the opacity she wanted, and she used faux blooms in pastel colors.
2. Happy at home
Want something that's less of a production? Do a maternity shoot at home! You can use this photo of celeb couple Iya Villania and Drew Arellano as a peg.It is easy to pull off and low budget (it can be any corner of your house but pick one with lots of natural light). And when modeling isn't your day job, being playful and sweet in front of the camera will be more relaxed at home.
Kylie Padilla had several maternity shoots during her pregnancy and this one shot at Museo De Padilla, has her looking like a diyosa in a pristine white dress surrounded by flowers. Contact the venue through Facebook.com/museodepadilla.

Of course, they had solo shots.
9. DIY shoot
Neri Naig-Miranda understands "budget-friendly" — her outfits are finds from an ukay-ukay and Divisoria (amazing!). She also didn't have to rent a venue since this was shot at her lovely and bright Tagaytay home. She "splurged" with by getting pros (who happened to be her friends) for her glam team. Shaira Luna took the photos, and her makeup was done by makeup artist Dang Miranda.
