    1. Bistro United 


    Bistro United in Kapitolyo serves good food, has the perfect ambiance (a.k.a. Instagram-worthy), and reasonably within budget for any occasion. Mom can have the cuisine she likes best because they have buffet themes. Here's a guide to the schedule, according to Spot.ph: Pinoy Food Revivals on Tuesdays, Spanish Affair on Wednesdays, The Great Asian Invasion on Thursdays, Cheat Day on Fridays and Freestyle on the weekends.

    Here's something for the k-drama mamas! There are several Samgyupsalamat branches already up and running in Metro Manila. Prices start at Php399 for unlimited pork but for Php449 per head for lunch (it's Php499 for dinner), you get unlimited pickings from nine kinds of pork and beef plus unlimited rice, side dishes, and soup. Well worth it, right?

    Here's something new and exciting in the Metro all the way from Japan. Osakatsu is a kushikatsu buffet. Kushikatsu are deep-fried skewered meat and vegetables. Hence, the buffet for Php490 per head gets you unlimited access to up to 20 kinds of skewers (from shrimps and beef strips to squid balls and eggplant), which you cook at your own table — roll in flour, dip in batter, coat with panko, and fry! They provide dipping sauces too. Every buffet order comes with rice, a half bowl of ramen, maki, and Japanese curry.

    Shaburi is a Japanese all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu experience. With the prices above, you can already get unlimited meat plates of beef and pork. This already comes with unlimited fresh vegetables, side dishes, drinks and dessert. And, guess what — you don't have to share one pot either. Each family member gets their own hotpot to make as they please.

    Mom will feel right at home at Guevarra's. If you need more convincing, they were awarded a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor last year.

For every Sunday of May, they'll be bringing much loved Rustic Mornings by Isabelo to the restaurant. Look forward to the comfort of pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, smoothies, and more. There will be complimentary sparkling, white, and red wine too. Brunch is at 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
