Ryza Cenon Lost 17 Lbs In 2 Months: This Is How She Did It

  • In early September 2021, Ryza Cenon surprised her Instagram followers with a photo showing that she has lost weight, particularly around her mid-section.

    "This fitness journey started with the decision to try then accompanied with perseverance," she said in the caption, adding that she got help from Fitness Mobil and Diet Diva.

    "I hope this inspires people around me to want to live everyday one step closer to being a healthier version of themselves." She ended her post by thanking her fitness coach Leandro "Andre" Cabrera and using #2monthprogressreport as her own hashtag.

    Ryza later on shared with SmartParenting.com.ph how she managed to go from 138 lbs in July to 121 pounds in September. She began by narrating how she got inspired by the positive result of the fitness training her friend and fellow actress Isabel Oli was having with Fitness Mobil. It is the virtual personal training services that she also calls Fitmobil.


    Ryza then sent a message to Isabel, telling her fellow mom that she wanted to try Isabel's training. Isabel, in turn, introduced Ryza to Coach Andre. She recalled, "The first thing that they did was they assessed me kung ano ’yung fitness goals ko, kung anong kaya ng body ko, and kung ano ang mga bawal sa akin.

    "Then do’n sila nag-base ng program for me, which I do twice a week with Coach Andre via Zoom. On the days na wala akong schedule with Fitmobil, I train on my own. Then aside sa training, s’yempre may diet din ako."

    Ryza pointed out, "Kasi having proper nutrition is actually just as important as training and exercise. Kasi you can never really outwork a bad diet. For my diet, nag-subscribe ako sa isang 1,200 na calorie high protein, low carb na meal plan."

    She added, "Kailangan lang talaga ng determination and commitment para makuha mo ’yung goal mo. Kailangan talaga may discipline ka pag dating sa diet mo. You have to control the temptation of eating sweets and junk foods kasi hindi mo talaga makikita ’yung result ng training mo if magpapatukso ka."


    Ryza, whose first child, Night Cruz, will turn one year old on October 31, has this message: "Sa mga mommies na gustong mag-lose ng weight, kailangan po muna natin malaman if physically, mentally, and emotionally ready kayo to fully commit sa changes ng food intake n’yo.

    "Sa mga nagpapa-breastfeed naman po, may mga meal plan po para sa mga breastfeeding moms na puwede gawin para nando’n pa rin ’yung nutrition na kailangan n’yo and sakto lang sa diet n’yo."
