During the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, aside from the virus, stigma among patients was also spreading quickly. But are gone are those days now with more and more people willing to shed light on the virus, including celebrities.
On their respective social media accounts, several celebrity moms have been detailing their bout with COVID-19 along with some tips and lessons they learned that other parents might find helpful too.

1. Iya Villania
From her heartbreaking photo of keeping distance away from her kids after testing positive for COVID-19 to, later on, detailing Primo, Leon, and Alana's COVID-19 symptoms, Iya Villania has been a picture of a strong mama. (Read here)

She tells moms and dads to "Make sure you have everything ready for the night. Meds, medicine cups or syringes, extra clothes (in case of vomit), nebulizer, necessary nebules, wet/cold towel, thermometer, oximeter, water, and a lamp!"
Iya also has this to say for parents who are feeling down after learning they've contracted the virus: "You have to get over it as soon as you can and get in that speed car towards recovery for your family."
2. Bianca Gonzalez
Being in isolation can be challenging for many. When the virus hit her household, Bianca Gonzalez came up with a five-point isolation guide that helped keep her in "good spirits."
Have some sort of routine.

Get enough sleep.
Healing takes place when you are well-rested. Bianca's keyword is "enough." She says, "Too much sleep can make you feel heavy, too little sleep won't help you get the energy you need to recover."
Get some sun, if you can.
Vitamin D boosts the immune system, and luckily we can get it for free—by soaking in the sun. "If you have access to it, getting morning sun and that natural Vitamin D is so good for you."
Keep in touch with "batchmates."
It's been a running joke now to consider your last day of isolation as "graduation." For Bianca, talking with your batchmates "makes you feel like you are in it together."
Try something different or new.
It helps to keep worries at bay. To do this, Bianca recommends doing or learning something out of your usual things.
3. Sophie Albert
"My world talagang...I don't know, it just turned upside down 'cause it's my dad and, you know, he's...he's a special case. He's sick," she shared.
The second time was even more challenging for her family when their 10-month-old baby Avianna contracted the virus.
In GMA News report, her husband Vin Abrenica says he hopes their experience can teach the public that even babies are not safe from the virus.

Danica Sotto-Pingris and her family were also not spared from COVID-19. She shares three things she learned while going through the health crisis:
- The power of prayer.
- Maintain a healthy body by getting vaccinated and taking vitamins.
- Strictly follow protocols by getting tested as soon as possible if symptoms are showing or if you know you have been exposed to the virus. If you find it hard to get tested and have symptoms do the responsible thing and follow quarantine and isolation protocols.
5. Chynna Ortaleza
"On a positive note.. I can truly attest to the efficacy of vaccines (Covid, Flu, Pneumonia). The importance of self-test kits as we were able to address and manage ASAP," she shared.

6. Rica Peralejo
Prior to this, Rica already had a bout with COVID-19 in 2021. She saw the experience as a spiritual reminder. (Read here)
"It was so life-giving, iba rin talaga yung nagagawa pag nare-remind kung saan naka-anchor yung faith mo.
"Jesus is indeed the great physician. I had no better healer in the world than Jesus, and I just kept saying that in my mind," she recalled.
