    We've lauded Neri Naig, actress, wife to Chito Miranda, and mom to 1-year-old Miggy, in the past for her knack of turning her hobbies into money-making home-based businesses. She sells bed linens through Very Neri, manages an ukayan, and fixed up a small cottage in Tagaytay that's now for rent to vacationers. And her love for cooking has resulted in the recently opened Neri's Bakeshop, although it's also in Tagaytay. But you can try her Neri's Gourmet Tuyo! Place an order for a few bottles this holiday season.

Owned by TV host, pastry chef and mom-of-four LJ Moreno-Alapag, the bakeshop opened in 2010 when it mainly sold cake pops. “I started bringing [cake pops] to friends’ parties and parties for family members, and they were like, ‘Why don’t you try selling them? They’re really good.’ It started from there,” she told The Philippine Daily Inquirer. Today, The Lollicake Factory has everything from fondant cakes to cupcakes, cookies and other customized pastries.
