Bored? Try These 7 Kid-Friendly Science Tricks At Home
  • "Learning through play" -- we've heard and read all about its positive effects on children's development. Play is actually their first language and it's through which they understand and remember lessons more effectively.

As your child's first teacher, it is helpful to find activities that you can do with him at home, even before he starts schooling. And for that, nothing spells "learning through play" better than creating your own DIY expriments at home. That's like hitting two birds with one stone, in addition to having some real quality time spent with your child.

This funny Russian guy's YouTube Channel (his accent makes science a tad bit less boring!) that has videos of crazy experiments you can try with your kids over the summer (when you're not busy heading over to the beach or pool). You and your kids will not only learn a thing or two doing these, but will also have crazy fun while you're at it.

We've picked the easy ones, so try to leave the "parent" at the door and see it through your child's eye (a.k.a, have fun!). Just don't forget to practice safety precautions.

Even young kids will love playing with this! Just make sure they don't put it in their mouth.

    2. Rubber Watermelon Trick
