We grown-ups always talk about our childhood days when we played tag, taguan, luksong tiniktumbang preso and piko with our neighbors, games we want to pass on to our kids who prefer "techie" games. My six year old daughter lately learned to play piko, a game she cannot play indoors or on our street. Since our family weekends are mostly spent in malls, an idea came to me fusing together outdoor-type games, “techie” games and mall strolling. Why not try a day of fun at Jumpstreet, the kids’ zone area of Robinsons Galleria?
All In One Play Place
At Jumpstreet, can give you all three: outdoor-type games, “techie” games and mall strolling. Hopscotch grids are sprawled all over the floor giving the place its name. My three year old only likes jumping over the numbers as he identifies each one. My daughter, having had her fill of piko, wanted something more hi-tech. She found it in Little Martians, a space themed play place inside the kids’ zone area. Here, kids will get to enjoy Transformers, Star Trek, Star Wars, Wall-e and other space toys. Equipped with five Lightning Mc Queen monitors, you can choose a PS2 game or bring your own disc. Even I enjoyed the game Who Wants to be a Millionaire on their PSP. My boy couldn’t get enough of the angled slide and inclined wall climbing. I thought the Little Martians area was small and the kids would get bored so I scheduled them for only an hour of play. It turned out that the kids liked the place so much that their stay got extended to unlimited play.
