Around Town: Hello Kitty Pop-up CafesA sneak-peek of the real cafe that's opening here next year!
Ever since the first Hello Kitty Café opened, a lot of countries have followed suit. Currently, there are Hello Kitty cafes and restaurants in Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and most recently in the U.S. To raise the bar higher, as if she’s bit by bit conquering the world, the girl-cat character also has her own spa in Dubai and an airplane that serves everything Hello Kitty!
Now, the Hello Kitty fever has reached our shores. If you happen to be at the SM Mall of Asia this holiday season, drop by the Hello Kitty Café pop-up store. There’s another one at the Fiesta Duty Mall in Paranaque.
It’s everything you could expect from the store. Taking after its predecessors, the café screams "Here, kitty kitty!". It has pink interiors, Hello Kitty-shaped treats, and even its coffee drinks are adorned with her iconic face.

Aside from this pop-up place, Hello Kitty will be opening a full-blown café in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig in March. In the meantime, have a taste of her offerings at Mall of Asia.
The Hello Kitty pop-up store will be open only until January 16, while the Fiesta Duty Free Mall will be open until the 31st.
