This Annual Holiday Ice Show Still Feels Magical for Families

If the thought of buying tickets, waking up early over the break, and finding parking all to catch a show is already tiring you out enough to say “pass!”, we’re here to tell you three small words you might need to hear: It’s worth it.

Disney On Ice is a longstanding tradition for Filipinos in Metro Manila, dating back to the nineties. This year’s show is Disney On Ice presents Magic in the Stars, which showcases characters from Wish, Moana, Raya, Frozen, and the classics, and runs till January 4. There are three shows daily, 11 AM, 3 PM, and 7 PM (except on January 1).

Since there’s three shows per day on most days, expect the area to be flled with people, especially because there are a number of other shows, activities, and things to do in the area. Expect parking to be a challenge. If you can skip parking and be dropped off, you may want to consider the option. But also weigh out the difficult of ride-hailing returning home.

Make it a full experience for your child: allow them to wear their Disney costume or favorite Disney clothes and accessories. Play the playlist days before or on the way to the venue. And don’t forget a lightweight jacket if your kids tend to feel cold easily.

The venue offers several snack options before the show, so no need to worry about hunger. You may want to take your family to a meal before or after the show; it’s only about two hours long, with an intermission.
