National Book Store Warehouse Sale

Another exciting sale to visit is the National Book Store Warehouse Sale where you can purchase books, school and office supplies, toys, and games for up to 80% off. If you’re a Laking National Cardholder, you can participate in the exclusive preview on March 27, 2019. (Check out our finds here.) 

The National Book Store Warehouse Sale will be happening at 125 Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong City. It will be open on March 27 to 31, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free.

Summit Media Warehouse Sale

Want to get your hands on some fun new reads? Don’t forget to catch the Summit Media Warehouse Sale on April 4 to 6, 2019 where you can get copies of old and new fiction books for less than Php200 each as well as copies of your favorite magazines for up to 90% off.

The Summit Media Warehouse Sale will happen at RDC Business Complex, Brgy. San Andres, Cainta, Rizal. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 4 and 5, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 6.

Markdown Madness Sale

Trendsetter’s Bazaar

Peek-A-Book

Sixteen children’s book illustrators – Abi Goy, Angela Taguiang, Ara Villena, Bernadette Solina-Wolf, Beth Parrocha, Bru Sim-Nada, Fran Alvarez, Iori Espiritu, Isabel Roxas, Jamie Bauza, Kora Dandan-Albano, Liza Flores, May Tobias-Papa, Mika Song, Pergy Acuña, and Yas Doctor – will share their artistic process as individual creators and in collaboration with authors and publishers. Entrance is free!

There will also be lots of other fun activities for both you and your child, including a Q&A session with the illustrators, a workshop of making picture book art, a joint launch of children’s books that feature well-known Pinoy folk songs, a free storytelling and art activity for kids, and a panel discussion on the role of illustrations and illustrators in the process of picture book making in the country.

Peek-A-Book will happen at Ayala Museum, Makati Avenue cor. De La Rosa Street, Makati City. The free exhibition will be open until April 27, 2019, while the other events will be happening until April 13, 2019. Dumbo

The latest film in Disney’s line-up of live-action remakes is Dumbo, which revolves around a family that owns a failing circus, who discover an adorable baby elephant with huge ears and the ability to fly. It premieres on March 27, 2019 in the Philippines, so don’t miss out on this exciting movie!
