It's a payday weekend! Make the most out of it and enjoy quality bonding time with the family. Do something fun, eat good food, shop and unwind. Need ideas? Here are several things happening this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday you should check out:
What to do
Treat the kids to budget-friendly Fun City
Need ideas on where to take the kids? Head to Fun City at Ali Mall in Quezon City. At P250 an hour for one child and one adult companion, the kids get to play in a bouncy house, pretend-play booths (fire station, hospital, etc.), a sandbox, an obstacle course gym, and ball pits. But our favorite is the mini excavator where the kids can get on the machine and start digging.
Moms and dads, they have an area for adults as well with video games and videoke. Read more about Fun City here.
Ride bikes with the whole familyIf you're feeling adventurous, head to The Bike Playground at Circulo Verde in Quezon City. They have an outdoor trail, a kids track, and a pump park for more experienced bikers.

Head to the cinemas
If you're itching to head to the cinemas this week, here's a family movie you can catch. Showing in theaters now, A Wrinkle in Time follows the journey of 13-year-old Meg Murry (played by Storm Reid) through space as she uncovers the mysteries behind the disapperance of her brilliant scientist father (Chris Pine). It also stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling. What other parents are reading

Have Sunday family lunch at Palm Grill
Eat out with the family at a restaurant both adults and kids will enjoy. Palm Grill in Quezon City takes pride in its chicken — have a plate and you'll see why. And for the kids, Oswalda's Fried that is coated in golden, crunchy breading and sat in a bed of gravy. For dessert, you can't go wrong with CocoRoons. With its cozy interiors, there's your relaxing Sunday lunch sorted.
Unwind at St. Louis House of Fine Ice Cream & Desserts
Treat yourself and the kids this weekend to some sweet, sweet dessert at St. Louis House of Fine Ice Cream & Desserts in High Street Central, Taguig.
