    Start planning your next grand family vacation at the Travel Madness Expo, happening this weekend, July 7 to 9, at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay. Participating will be lots of international airlines, travel agencies, hotels and resorts, and more.     Join an art fair

    From bunso to lola, every member of the family is invited to come to Hue & Me: Embracing Art in Life, happening on Saturday and Sunday, July 8 to 9, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at SM Aura Premier, Taguig.  Aside from exhibits and talks, there will be fun art activities and workshops catering to children, adults, and the elderly. Paint, draw, make terrariums, design cupcakes, apply make-up, weave fabrics and more! Tickets are at P200 for adults and P100 for students. Register here

    Spend a weekend watching free movies 

    Here's a real treat to fans of movies and TV: Globe is hosting a Stream Fest! It will be a weekend full of free movies and shows from Netflix, Disney and Hooq. The snacks will be free too and there will be YouTube creators in attendance. It's happening on July 7 and 8 at the BHS Activity Center, BGC in Taguig and on July 9 at UP Town Center in Quezon City.

    Attend a support group meeting for Autism

    The Autism Society Philippines - Sta. Rosa chapter is holding a family support group meeting this Saturday, July 8, from 2 to 3 p.m., at Brgy. Hall Tagapo, Laguna.     See artworks by artists with Autism

    Have someone with Autism in your life? Appreciate art and marvel at artworks by artists with autism at Design, Art, Autism by Unilab Foundation and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB). The display is open to the public now until July 29, at the SDA Gallery, DLS-CSB School of Design and Arts, Manila.  

    Add books to your home library

    Read your child a storybook in Cebuano, Ivatan or Chavacano. Attend The Sari-Sari Storybooks Manila Launch: Melo and Kalipay and Amina and get copies of bilingual books for kids. The authors will be there to talk about their works too. Books included in the launch are Melo the Umang-Boy (Ivatan), Kalipay and the Tiniest Tiktik (Cebuano), and Amina and the City of Flowers (Chavacano). Reserve copies in advance here.
