    Clear a day this weekend because Mommy Mundo’s Expo Mom: Holiday Edition is here! Expect loads of practical and whimsical brands like Urban Essentials, Nurture Nook, Mighty Baby, Tots & Toddlers and more. Don’t worry about bringing the kids along because there will be a mom lounge, a breastfeeding area, a diaper changing area and a kids’ play area. The event is happening on Nov. 4 to 6, at the Glorietta Activity Center, Makati. Entrance fee is P50. Donations of preloved clothes, books and toys will also be accepted at the entrance.

    Attend a breastfeeding class


    Planning to breastfeed your little one? Best be prepared. Attend LATCH PhilippinesBest Beginnings Breastfeeding Class where experts show you how with a hands-on lesson. Take this opportunity as LATCH says this may be their last class in Metro Manila for the year. The event is happening this Saturday, Nov. 5, from 1 to 4 p.m. at The Medical City, Pasig City. Participation fee is P500 but the class is free for Medical City patients. To register, call 988-1000 or 988-7000 ext. 6444. Limited walk-in slots are available as well.   

    Attend a workshop on homeschooling

    Thinking about homeschooling? Learn why you should and get advice from experienced homeschooling moms at the Starting Your Preschool Homeschool workshop by The Learning Basket. The event is happening on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at The Parenting Emporium, 29 1st St. New Manila, Quezon City. Participation fee is P600. Register here

    The Manila Symphony Orchestra Music Academy students are raising funds so they can build their own rehearsal hall in Circuit Makati. Wanna help out? Catch their debut as the Manila Symphony Junior Orchestra with their concert Strings Like Teen Spirit: Manila Symphony Junior Orchestra in Concert. They’ll be playing the masterworks of Bach, Vivaldi and Mozart as well as hits from Lady Gaga, Guns n’ Roses and Coldplay. The one-night-only concert is happening this Saturday, Nov. 5, 7:30 p.m. at Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino, CCP Little Theater, Pasay City. Ticket price is P1,000. Get them here
