    The Araneta Center has a lot prepared for Grandparents this weekend at their 3-day long Cooking Good with Lolo & Lola celebration. See lolos and lolas whip up their best dishes at cooking demos, shop for kitchen essentials and cooking ingredients at a fair, win prizes and more. The event is happening from Sept. 9 to 11.     Go to a health bazaar


    Focus on lolo and lola's health and well-being this Grandparent's Day at Hunt & Gather's Grandparents' Day Nutrition & Fitness Bazaar. There will be talks including Katherin Sy's Nourishing Vitality as You Approach the Golden Years. There will also be loads of merchants with goodies like essential oils and apothecary jars, and health food booths with yogurt bowls, coffee and paleo meals. The event is happening on Sept. 9 to 11, at Glorietta 4 for the bazaar and Glorietta 1 for the talks.     

    Relive the good ol' days

    There's a lot for lolo and lola at Ayala Malls' Fairview Terraces this Grandparents' Day at their Trip Down Memory Lane celebration. Time travel to the streets of Old Manila, enjoy free health and wellness servies, and, once the moon's out, groove to the classic hits of the 60s and 70s with a live band.     Get creative this weekend at Ayala Museum. They're having a Basic Drawing Workshop for Kids in the morning, at 10 a.m., where children ages 7 to 12 will learn how to draw using oil pastels and colored pencils. Participation fee is P4,000. In the afternoon, at 2 p.m., parent and kids ages 6 to 9 can bond at Mommy and Me Brush Pen Calligraphy where they can learn the basics of brush calligraphy.
