    1. Sundowners Vacation Villa, Bolinao

    Bolinao, Pangasinan has lots of activities in store for you: swimming in a cave, at the beach, or by the waterfalls, in addition to sightseeing. If you're heading to Bolinao, you might want to check out Sundowners Vacation Villa, the most-searched local place in 2015. It's a Santorini-inspired villa with infinity pools and a breathtaking view of the beach. Make sure to book early.

    2. Baguio City

    Where to go: BenCab Museum and the Baguio Museum for your dose of art and culture. If you're a bookworm, head to Mt. Cloud Bookshop. Visit the various parks Baguio has to offer, too! 

    3. Coron, Palawan

    Coron is paradise on Earth. It has lakes, hot springs, clear waters, beaches, coral gardens, and so much more. If you're heading here, make sure to check out Kayangan Lake, the Twin Lagoons, Barracuda Lake, and Smith Beach. If you're feeling extra adventurous, go diving/snorkeling to see Japanese shipwrecks. (Those ships sank due to an air-attack on the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II.)

    4. Cebu

    There are a number of places to check out and things to do in Cebu. Apart from going on a historical tour to see churches, you can go to Oslob to swim with the whalesharks or go on an easy hike to see Tumalog Falls. Or go to Kalanggaman Islet (in Leyte) if you want a remarkably beautiful and pristine beach.

    Aquatico Royalle is a resort and vacation house in Calamba, Laguna. You can book this place for out of town trips with friends or for parties. (It has a function hall that can accommodate a hundred people.)

    9. Baler, Aurora

    You can't go to Baler and not surf or take surfing lessons (if the weather and current are just right, that is). Aside from that, you gotta check out the 600-year-old balete tree at Balete Park, the Ditumabo Falls, and the Diguisit Rock Formations. There's also a lighthouse you can climb, and at the top you'll have an amazing view of Dicasalarin Cove.

    It's the party place in Mexico that borders the Caribbean Sea. If you're more on the laid-back side, you'd want to check out the El Rey and Yamil Lu'um ruins. Picturesque!

    10. Hawaii

    If you're not interested in Hawaii beaches because you have great beaches here in the Philippines, check out Hawaii's volcanoes. It is, after all, a volcanic archipelago. There's the Haleakala, which makes up 75 percent of Maui Island. And there's the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where you'll find hiking trails to craters, rain forests, a museum, a walk-in lava tube, and two active volcanoes. Talk about having an adventure!
