Lenten Events You Can Join in Manila This Holy Week

Holy Week is the perfect time to connect with family, reflect on faith, and experience the season in new ways. Besides attending Mass or Visita Iglesia, you can explore immersive Stations of the Cross, visit contemplative exhibits that bring the story of Christ to life, or join church services and special devotions suitable for all ages.

Here are some of the best activities in the metro to help families make this Holy Week meaningful and engaging.

The BGC Faith Walk returns from March 29 to April 5, inviting families to experience 14 immersive Stations of the Cross in this beloved Holy Week tradition. Each station creates a quiet moment for prayer, reflection, and conversation about the Passion of Christ. The walk starts at Fully Booked BGC and continues toward One Bonifacio High Street along 5th Avenue, allowing families to move at their own pace and linger at each station.

Come for a night of reflection and music on April 5 at 6:00 PM at the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater. Reflections, brought to life by the passionate cast of Trumpets Playshop, is a musical celebrating friendship, faith, and the Easter story.

Another meaningful stop this Holy Week is MOA Sanctuary, located in MOA Sky, the rooftop space on Level 4 of SM Mall of Asia. This year, it features the exhibit “The Only Begotten Son,” running from March 2 to April 12. The exhibit brings together paintings and sculptures from 25 Filipino artists that reflect on the life, suffering, and redeeming love of Christ, with many works inspired by the 14 Stations of the Cross. Admission is free and open to the public.

Explore “TRANSITUS: Journeying with Christ from the Cross to Eternal Life” at the Fisher Mall Event Center in Quezon City. Visitors can see life-size statues and detailed depictions of Jesus, Mary, and the saints. The exhibit is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM until April 5, 2026.

Paco Park is opening its gates for the Stations of the Cross from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with extended hours at St. Pancratius Chapel until midnight—except on April 2, Maundy Thursday.

Not far away, Rizal Park’s Luneta hosts an Interactive Stations of the Cross designed by Reverend Father Jesus Madrid Jr., running from March 30 to April 5, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Kanlungan ng Sining.

For evening events, the Open-Air Auditorium presents a Senakulo titled “Martir sa Golgota” by Tanghalang Sta. Ana on March 30 at 7:00 PM, followed by Cinema in the Open-Air screening “Ang Sanhedrin” on April 2 at 6:00 PM.

Reflect through music at Far Eastern University (FEU Chapel) as the FEU Center for the Arts presents the Pundaquit Virtuosi in a special Lenten performance of Joseph Haydn’s The Seven Last Words of Jesus Christ. The concert takes place on March 31 at 5:00 PM and is open to all.
