SpongeBob Square Pants (voiced by Tom Kenny)
SpongeBob SquarePants is ready for his biggest adventure ever! Ever the optimist and always innocent, he sets off to prove he has what it takes to be a BIG GUY and a true swashbuckler. With his positive attitude, SpongeBob ventures into the Underworld and discovers that it’s not being a BIG GUY that matters, but being a KID who wins the day.

Patrick Star (Bill Fagerbakke)
There’s no one better to join SpongeBob on this epic adventure than his loyal, bubble-blowing best friend, Patrick Star! This lovable sea star brings a special dose of sweet, clumsy comedy to the journey. Most importantly, Patrick reminds SpongeBob what really matters: blowing bubbles and never forgetting the kid inside.

The Flying Dutchman (Mark Hamill)
Malicious and manipulative, the Flying Dutchman is the most formidable villain in the SpongeBob SquarePants universe. This gruff yet goofy ghost-pirate is determined to break his 500-year curse and return to the surface world. The curse has doomed him to roam the Underworld for all eternity unless he can find someone to take his place, and to his delight, he sees SpongeBob as the perfect pawn.

Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown)
Owner of the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs is SpongeBob’s penny-pinching boss with a love for money. When SpongeBob is suddenly taken by the Flying Dutchman, Mr. Krabs puts together an unlikely crew of Squidward and Gary to rescue his beloved fry-cook, whom he sees as a son.
To save SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs must confront the tall tales of his youth as a hunky swashbuckler who once went toe-to-toe with the Flying Dutchman. Now middle-aged and out of shape, he dons his old sea captain’s uniform and sets out to face the pirate ghost and save SpongeBob.

Barb (Regina Hall)
Barb is the Flying Dutchman’s loyal first mate and right-hand crewmember. She takes pride in serving the most fearsome pirate ghost under the sea. Determined to help break the Dutchman’s curse, her short temper makes it hard to be patient with SpongeBob, who she thinks is an ‘idiot.’ She’d love to keelhaul him and get it over with!

Squidward (Rodger Bumpass)
Squidward would rather be anywhere else than on Mr. Krabs and Gary’s rescue mission to save SpongeBob. Bikini Bottom’s resident grump spends most of his life annoyed and indifferent, though he still enjoys the “finer things in life” and his beloved clarinet. Even so, he can’t resist the temptation of smooth jazz-playing sirens, whose relaxed beats nearly lull him to his doom.

Gary (Tom Kenny)
Gary is SpongeBob’s beloved pet sea snail who communicates through his signature “meow” sounds. Gary is SpongeBob’s fierce protector and confidant. He is loyal, caring, and wise beyond his “meows.”

Plankton (Mr. Lawrence)
Plankton is Bikini Bottom’s tiniest villain. This persistent copepod is after one thing: the secret formula to the Krusty Krab’s famed Krabby Patties, which he believes holds the key to world domination. Yet time and again, Plankton fails to get his tiny hands on the formula.
Sandy Cheeks (Carolyn Lawrence)
Sandy Cheeks is a land squirrel living underwater in Bikini Bottom. She is a bonafide scientist and thrillseeker with a love for waterskiing, karate, and country-western slang.
