Here’s something families who love outdoor public spaces will enjoy: Taguig City has recently opened a free playpark, the TLC Playpark.
Located in Barangay Lower Bicutan, the TLC Playpark is a 3,000-square-meter public space that is designed for children aged 3 to 12 years old. It features “world-class play equipment” with cultural storytelling elements, giving children opportunities for active play while also learning about Taguig’s Probinsyudad identity.

Moreover, the city also unveiled seven BaTaguig mascots—friendly and relatable characters that reflect the values instilled in every Batang Taguigeño. The mascots include, Eli Madasalin, Luli Mapagmahal, Aya Masayahin, Miggy Magalang, Mika Malikhain, Juan Masipag, and Kali Kalikasan, all of which symbolize the city’s commitment to nurturing character, creativity, and positive values among children.

The playpark features a wide range of play structures, including the Giant Slide, Pirate Ship. Eagle Climber, Play Mantis, Fish Bone Play Equipment, Web Climber, Giraffe Play Equipment, Swing Tree and Sunflower Swing, Bird and Lovers Seesaws, musical play areas with drum set and xylophone, and Animal Riders, along with other park amenities.
The TLC Playpark is open every Tuesday to Sunday, from 6:00 am to 10:00 am, and 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It is closed on Mondays for maintenance. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis and can accommodate up to 100 children per time slot. Each child must be accompanied and actively supervised by one adult guardian at all times. Play sessions are scheduled hourly and limited to one hour per child to allow more families to enjoy the facility.
Families who wish to visit should also note that sharp or pointed objects and other potentially harmful items are not allowed inside the Playpark to ensure everyone’s safety. Food and drinks are not permitted inside the play areas but the park has designated snack areas and on-site merchants.
