Celebrate payday weekend with the family by visiting a massive book fair, shopping for adorable Mickey Mouse-inspired shirts and sweaters, and trying out new pizza flavors and burgers! Here are just some of the exciting deals and promos you can score this weekend.

Score new reads at MIBF

Manila International Book Fair is happening this week! Tickets are priced at Php35, but if you want to score free tickets, check out local publishers. Adarna House, St. Matthew's Publishing, Tahanan Books and more are offering free ticket vouchers you can print at home. Visit their booths at the second level of SMX Convention Center. Get a chance to score picture books for as low as Php50 each (if you purchase 25 pieces or more) and big books for as low as Php150 each (if you purchase 10 pieces or more). 

Many authors will launch their new books at MIBF and hold signings including Heart Evangelista! She will be there to launch her first book on fashion, Styled With Heart, on September 15, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Stage 2, 2/f SMX. The book will be available at the MIBF-Summit Books booth starting September 11. Copies will be available in bookstores nationwide for Php450. 

The 40^th Manila International Book Fair is happening from September 11 to 15, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

Shop for cute new sweaters

Uniqlo’s newest UT line features everyone’s favorite animated mouse, Mickey Mouse. The Mickey Art Collection comprises of graphic tees, hoodies, and sweatshirts with modern illustrations of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their friends. Children’s shirts are available for Php390 each, adults’ shirts and children’s sweaters are available for Php790 each, and adults’ sweaters are available for Php1,490. Jollibee

Jollibee is offering yummy new treats! First is the Bacon Cheesy Yumburger (Php59/a la carte), which contains crispy bacon strips, creamy cheddar cheese, and a savory beef patty. The Bacon Cheesy Deluxe Yumburger (Php89/a la carte) has additional lettuce and red tomatoes.

No burger meal is complete without fries. Another new addition to Jollibee’s menu is the Crispy Spice Fries (Php49/regular, Php69/large), which are coated with spicy seasoning and are thinner and crispier than the regular Jollibee fries.

Both new additions are available in Jollibee branches all over the country.

S&R

Are you a fan of fruits on pizza or just thinking of trying out a new pizza flavor? S&R is now offering the Peaches & Bacon Pizza, which is topped with bacon strips, sliced peaches, and lots of cheese, making for a unique sweet-and-savory experience. Pancake House is now hopping on the milk tea bandwagon with the launching of its new milk tea drink, Three Layer Tea! This beverage features milk, black tea, and muscovado sugar pearls. You can get it for Php79 (12oz) or Php99 (16ox).
