Liempo at JT’s Manukan Grille
Price: P125
Yes, there's more to this resto than insasal. Spot.ph says every tender forkful of pork belly "has a rich, smoky-sweet goodness that will stay with you long after you’ve polished off your plate."
Tonkatsu at Tonkatsuya
Price: P190 per order of a Tonkatsu Set
"The pork is thin and lean, but packed with juiciness and flavor. The breading could be crispier, but for the price? We can’t really complain."ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWWhat other parents are reading
Hakaw at Wai Ying
Price: P80 per order
Spot.ph labels this as a Binondo favorite where the hakaw "arrives glistening, with the shrimp peeking through the translucent wrapper."
Fried Chicken at Tom Sawyer
Price: P88 per piece of an Old-Fashioned Fried Chicken
This was an 80s favourite that reopened in 2014. "The chicken is slightly fatty, very meaty, and ridiculously crunchy."
Waffles at Starbucks
Price: P85 for a Caramel Belgian Waffle
Yes, you read that right. Spot.ph says this waffle makes up in flavor what it lacks in size.
Lasagna Roll Ups at Banapple
Price: P210 per order of the Lasagna Roll Ups
We're happy Banapple is still make the list, this time with their Lasagna Roll Ups, which are filled with herbed cream cheese and Parmesan, "ensuring creamy goodness in every bite."What other parents are reading
Chocolate Cake at Ms. Polly’s Specialty Cakes and Desserts
Price: P95 per slice of the Classic Chocolate Cake
We totally agree with Spot.ph on this entry. Ms. Polly's cake is "simple, homey, and just honest-to-goodness good." It has no nuts or caramel so chocolate purists will love it.
Churros at Sancho Churreria Manila
Price: P88 per order
Northeners swear by this golden and crispy churros which you can find in Maginhawa.
Milkshake at Dairy Queen
Price: P98 per order
We, too, never get disappointed with the melted version of Dairy Queens famous soft-serve. Thick and creamy, it is "exactly what a good milkshake should be."To find more places for delicious eats, check out the Top 10 Everything Food Lists 2016 Edition: Your Ultimate Guide to Good Food in Manila
