  • 3 Family Breakfast Ideas Everyone Will Look Forward To

Make your morning meals even more special through these simple tips.
  • Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Skipping it is a big no-no! You will feel sluggish and weak as the hours pass by.

No matter how busy mornings can get, enjoying a healthy, filling meal should be top priority. Entice your family to enjoy a few minutes to sit down and eat breakfast together.

Add some healthy goodness to breakfast by enjoying Arla Cheesy Spread, the first real cheese spread in Asia. It's made from 90% real milk, and contains calcium and vitamin A, so you're sure you're getting the good stuff.

Here are a few simple tweaks you can make to make the first meal of the day feel extra special.

Prepare a DIY cheesy scrambled egg station

Everyone has his own favorite scrambled egg combination, so why not please everybody by letting them choose their toppings? Prep ham, mushrooms, garlic, onions, bell peppers, tuna, and pesto. To make it even more delicious, add Arla Cheesy Spread to the mixture to make your eggs extra creamy and cheesy. You can even prep the ingredients the night before.

    Eggs (2 per person)

    Chopped garlic

    Chopped onions

    Sliced bell peppers

    Chopped ham

    Tuna flakes

    Butter or cooking oil

    Arla Cheesy Spread

    Salt and pepper

1 To make ham and cheese eggs: Beat together 2 eggs, 1 tablespoon Arla Cheesy Spread, salt and pepper in a bowl.

2 Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a frying pan over low heat. Carefully pour egg into the pan. Let it bubble for a bit and use a spatula gently stir it.

3 Add the ham into the middle, and fold it over, letting it cook until your desired consistency.

4 Top with more Arla Cheesy Spread before serving.

KITCHEN PRO TIP: Make sure you use a non-stick pan, heated for at least two minutes. When you add the egg, don't mix it immediately. Leave it for not more than 20 seconds, and then stir and fold to make it extra fluffy.

Spread Arla Cheesy Spread on carrot cake pancakes

Make breakfast extra special by whipping up some carrot cake pancakes. Make a luscious topping by mixing together Arla Cheesy Spread, sugar, and a bit of cinnamon. Slather this generously on the pancakes, and then top with maple syrup or honey. Breakfast pancakes will never be the same again!

2 Prepare pancakes according to package directions. Add the grated carrots.

3 Grease a frying pan with butter or cooking oil. Place pan over medium heat. Add the pancake batter, and then flip once a lot of bubbles appear on top.

4 Cook other side for about a minute more. Set aside.
