My kids love oatmeal and bananas but sometimes we decide to add something to make it taste different. This can be a complete meal for the kids and will give them energy for the hectic day ahead.
Back to School Breakfast Recipe: Oatmeal Surprise
What you’ll need:
quick cooking oatmeal
1 med sized banana
1 tsp peanut butter
chocolate shavings (optional)
1. Cook oatmeal according to package directions. 2. Top with sliced banana and apple. 3. Add peanut butter (this will replace the sugar). You can add more if you want. 4. You can also add shavings of your kid's favorite chocolate on top of the oatmeal if you want.
