Chocolate Covered Strawberries If strawberries are in season, or if you just came from Baguio and went overboard with strawberry-picking, here’s a very simple recipe to help you with your strawberry overstock.
You will need: • 1 kilo strawberries • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate bits (I like the semi-sweet, my hubby likes dark chocolate)
Directions: 1. Wash the strawberries very well and make sure they are completely dried. 2. Using a double broiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate bits in low heat. Stir continuously until the lumps are gone. 3. Dip the strawberries into the melted chocolate and place the chocolate-coated fruits on a buttered cookie sheet. Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
