    You can also turn this into a pasta dish by substituting the rice with macaroni or spaghetti. Perfect if you are having a lot of kids over for a playdate.

  • Baked Cheesy Tuna Mushroom Rice

    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
    • 3 tablespoons onions, chopped
    • 2 cans tuna chunks in brine, drained
    • 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 cup all purpose cream
    • 4 ½ cups cooked rice
    • ½ cup, quickmelt cheese, grated 
    • ¼ cup bacon bits

    1. Sauté garlic and onions in butter. Add in tuna chunks.
    2. Add condensed cream of mushroom soup, water and all purpose cream. Let simmer.
    3. Add in rice and mix well until well-coated with the sauce.
    4. Transfer rice mixture to an oven-proof dish and top with cheese and bacon bits.
    5. Bake in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve immediately.
