Indulge Your Family's Palate With This Salmon Recipe

  • Indulge your palette and still maintian a healthy diet. Salmon is celebrated for its high levels of protein and omega-3 fatty acids. This seafood recipe pairs salmon with flavorful chimichurri and steamed brown rice for a wholesome dinner. And it's so easy to make!

    Prep time: 5 minutes
    Cooking time: 10 minutes 
    Serves 2 

    Here's what you'll need:

    2 (150 gram) salmon steaks
    salt and pepper, to taste
    2 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley, minced
    2 tablespoons cilantro, minced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 small red onion, minced
    1/4 cup olive oil
    lemon zest, grated
    lemon juice

    Make it!

    1 Preheat oven to 400ºF. Season both sides of  salmon steaks with salt and pepper, and then bake for about 8 minutes or until salmon is firm to the touch. Keep warm.

    Mix well flat-leaf parsley, cilantro, garlic, red onion, olive oil, and grated lemon zest. Season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Spoon over salmon. Serve with lemon slices.
