    • ½ cup butter
    • ¼ cup brown sugar
    • ¼ cup white sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1¾ cup all-purpose flour
    • 2½ teaspoon baking powder
    • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
    • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
    • ½ cup apple sauce
    • ½ cup mashed bananas
    • ¾ cup milk
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla


    1. Preheat oven to 375˚F. Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
    2. Cream butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together. Add in eggs one at a time.
    3. Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg together.
    4. Mix mashed bananas, apple sauce, milk, and vanilla together.
    5. Alternately add in the flour mixture with the mashed fruit mixture. Start and end with the flour mixture.
    6. Fill each hole of the muffin pan two-thirds of the way.
    7. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
    8. Cool completely.
