She starts out by making her Butternut coating. In a bowl, mix flour, powdered sugar, and nutmeg or cinnamon. Then add softened butter and mix everything together. Once everything is properly incorporated, pour in some orange food coloring to replicate the dessert's famous color.
In a separate bowl, sift together cocoa powder, light brown sugar, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Then mix in oil and eggs. Lastly, pour melted chocolate into the mixture and stir everything together. Be careful not to overmix.
Once you're done mixing, scoop your dough out into balls using an ice cream scoop. You can also scoop it out with a regular spoon and use your hands to roll each dollop into a ball. Roll these balls in the orange Butternut coating. Bake your coated dough pieces in a preheated oven at 325 degrees celsius for 12 to 14 minutes. Place on a cooling rack once they're done and serve.
