An occasional sip of iced tea is not entirely bad for 1-year-olds. But just so it doesn’t become habit-forming, serve different types of beverages during meals. Kids can get a lot of nutrients from milk shakes and fresh fruit shakes. For younger kids, at least one glass of milk a day is best.
