Old or new, both flavors get a big yes from moms and kids for baon and daily snacks.

If moms had a KRA (Key Results Area), being the “official food and snack supplier” would be a lifelong role. There’s the constant meal planning: baon, food for trips, vacation snacks, and everything in between. It all comes down to one recurring section: What will I feed my children?
And it’s not as simple as it sounds. Moms have a lot to consider. Is it healthy? Nutritious? Will they kids actually like it? Does it taste good?
Smart Parenting asked moms from the Smart Parenting Village to try and test both new and existing flavors of a yogurt drink. Will their kids love it? And is it mom-approved?
Here’s what they had to say.

What Moms Look for in Kids’ Drinks
Ingredients matter most. Fourteen moms said they prioritize nutritious ingredients, including vitamins and minerals that help keep kids active and healthy.
Taste is just as important. Kids need to enjoy what they’re drinking. Moms also pay attention to their kids’ requests. If kids ask for it, that’s usually a good sign.
Other factors include affordability, convenience for baon, and trust from other parents.
Is the New Apple Flavor a Hit?
Yogurt drinks are already popular among kids. Ten out of 17 moms shared their children regularly enjoy them.
11 moms shared that kids love yogurt drinks for their fruity taste. Another popular answer was yogurt drinks are an easy baon option. Eight moms said yogurt drinks are easy to pack. Just grab one and drop it into the lunch bag.
Kids also like them because they’re refreshing and sweet.
Taste Test Results
The new apple flavor was a clear favorite. All moms who had their kids try the new flavor said their children liked it. On a scale of 1 to 10, the average rating was 9.36. Kids described it as fruity, sweet, tasty, and refreshing. Many finished the drink and asked for more.
Dominique, a mom of three, shared: “It’s not that sweet. The apple variant tastes like real apple, while the other has a sweet, tangy flavor. You can even turn it into a fruity popsicle, which is perfect for summer.”
All 18 moms also liked the apple flavor, with 13 saying they liked it because their kids enjoyed it.
