Ingredients: • 400 grams canned and drained tuna, flaked • 100 grams canned mushrooms, drained and minced • 1 egg • Salt and pepper to taste • 3 tablespoons banana ketchup • 12 to 16 dinner rolls • Mayonnaise • Lettuce leaves • 1 cup bottled cheese spread • Oil for frying
Procedure: 1. Combine tuna, mushrooms, egg, salt, pepper, and ketchup in a bowl. Form mixture into balls.
2. Get wax paper and cut 2 x 2 inch squares, about 16 pieces. Place ball onto wax paper square and press down to form patties. Chill in freezer for 10 to 15 minutes.
3. Heat oil. Fry each patty until golden brown. Place on paper towel-lined plates.
4. Slice dinner rolls crosswise. Make a sandwich out of the burgers, lettuce, and mayonnaise. Add a spoonful of cheese spread on top of the burger before closing the buns together. Place the sandwiches in a toaster oven until the cheese starts to melt a bit.
5. Serve with a side of fries.
