Photo 1 of 10I always believe in the importance of having a hearty breakfast. It doesn't make you crave as much throughout the day, plus, it gives that needed energy boost in the morning. Imagine my delight when KFC made me try their new Fully Loaded Breakfast meals, delivered straight to my doorstep! I really enjoyed trying their chicken longganisa, chicken tocino slices, garlic rice and scrambled egg, served with coffee (P105). You might also want to try their chocolate chip pancakes.

Photo 2 of 10Every woman deserves to be at her best, and even the heartiest of meals might not provide her the sufficient amount of nutrients she needs. For the first time, AVON Philippines is producing a new line of multivitamins, Avon Life Boost, that helps you stay on top. Avon's ActiVit has the right amount of vitamins and minerals to keep her active. I recommend taking these right after breakfast.

Photo 3 of 10I was never a very sporty person, but getting into running a few years ago helped me lose weight and improve my endurance. And when you've got just the right gear, like these Nike 5.0 running shoes (P5,495 at Rustan's Department Store), that give you a barefoot feel and support with every mile, you'll want to incorporate running into your lifestyle.

Photo 7 of 10I swear by the usefulness of apps. And just to keep me constantly aware about the things that I eat, I downloaded Noom Weight Loss Coach on my phone. You can log meals and see their equivalent calories, log your workouts, monitor your weight, get fitness and nutrition tips, all for free!

Photo 8 of 10I'm a big fan of chick lit. They're easy to read and are perfect company during downtime. The most recent one I read was "Bikini Season" (P115 at Book Sale) by Sheila Roberts, which talks about a group of women in their thirties and forties who make a vow to lose weight so they can wear bikinis in the summer.

Photo 10 of 10Most women, especially moms, don't have the luxury of time to prepare the perfect meals for their family. But when I came across this app, Yummy Meals in Minutes, I was bowled over. Makes you feel like a chef because you can whip up delicious dishes in as little as 30 or 10 minutes! Available at the iTunes store for the retail price of $3.99.
