Cleaning isn’t exactly a fun activity. That’s why we adore cleaning tools that get the job quickly and effectively. Luckily, some of these cleaning tools can be found in your own pantry. No need for a pile of cleaning solutions, detergents and soaps. All you need is a lemon, a bottle of vinegar and a box of baking soda. Here are a couple of items in your home you can clean with them.
1 Microwave
If your microwave has a generous coating of food splatters and gunk on it, consider cleaning it with this quick lemon trick from the kitchn. All you have to do is to place a few lemon slices in a bowl of water. Then, microwave the bowl of lemons for 5 minutes on high. When you open your microwave door, you’ll notice the insides will be moist. Wipe everything down with a damp cloth.
2 Shower doors and faucets
Shower doors not as clear as they used to be? Simply cut a lemon in half and rub it over your glass shower doors. Faucets and doorknobs not as shiny as before? Apply the same method as you did with the shower doors and they’ll shine like they did the day you bought them.
