  • Wanna see something magical? A couple just decorated their baby’s nursery with a Harry Potter theme! Do you think they’d have to pass through Platform 9 ¾ just to get to it?

Mom Kaycee Daniel said that the nursery was all thanks to her husband, Casey, who was a huge fan of the series. “My husband knew right away when we were pregnant that he wanted to do a Harry Potter nursery. At first, I wasn’t sure, to be honest, but after him showing me some ideas, I came around to the idea,” she told BuzzFeed.

The nursery is now occupied by their 7-month-old son whose portraits were also Harry Potter themed.

The couple both wanted the room to feel like you were inside the castle with a window looking out. To make that dream come true was 3D artist Nate Baranowski who also happens to be their friend. “It turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined,” Casey told Huffington Post of the mural that now adorns one wall of the nursery.

The mural took five days to complete, and it certainly has us impressed! We can spend a while just pretending to look out into the beautiful lake with an owl (we’re assuming it’s Hedwig) perched on the window sill by our side.

Casey’s vision for the nursery included flags from all four of the Hogwarts houses and a painting of the house elf Dobby. The flags now seem to hang on a wall over the crib.

Hung up on the walls are paintings that are Harry Potter-themed, too. There’s one of Dobby and another of Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts. How cool would it be if they too moved in their frames?

All sorts of Harry Potter knickknacks are scattered here and there in the nursery including: Harry’s glasses, a snitch and a Gryffindor necktie.

“I am so glad in the end that I came around to the idea,” Kaycee said. “I walk into the room every morning, and I still can’t believe it is in our house!”

Thanks for giving us a peak into your wondrous room, mom and dad!
