  • In this time of a global pandemic, everybody is affected financially. The ones that hurt the most are the small local businesses that largely depend on daily sales for their income. Now more than ever, we all need to help one another by buying local.

Vice President Leni Robredo had a great idea to have wet and dry market goods from public market vendors available to consumers via the app. Community Mart app was first deployed for Quezon City's Kamuning Market. It helped minimize people in the usually busy and crowded public market.

Next was Pasig Mega Market , which had delivered more than Php71,000 sales on its first run on Tuesday, May 27. "Tunay ngang mas maraming bagay ang nagiging posible kung nagtutulungan, lalo na sa paglalayong mapabuti ang buhay ng ating mga kababayan," Robredo wrote on Facebook.

Once you've chosen your location, you need to log in or sign up if it's your first time. Enter your name, mobile number, and a password. Then, verify your account by entering a 6-digit number code sent to your mobile phone.

    3. Indicate the address to deliver the goods.

Before you choose your purchase items, you need to indicate the address where you want your groceries delivered. You can enter more than one address, and label it as "home" or "work," etc.

Community Mart is available in Metro Manila for Quezon City residents via Kaminung Market and Pasig City residents via Pasig Mega Mart.
