Mariel Padilla and Robin Padilla retain seven household help who have been with them for the longest time.
Mariel said in this exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) yesterday, June 28, 2022, "My driver has been with me since I was in second year high school... So sobrang tagal.
"The other girls na nandito na rin, they’ve been with us for a long time."
It's tough finding trustworthy domestic help for most families, and if at all, making them stay is also a problem.

"Robin is big on benefits," Mariel shared. "I don't know how the other households are.
"But I know that my staff, they’re happy because once that they enter, they’re here for a long time.
"I always say nga na kung, kung evil talaga yung ugali ko, hindi tatagal iyang mga iyan.

"Meron nga akong midwife that I thought she’d be here na na two years lang siya, ganyan kasi after a while hindi mo na kakailanganin ng midwife.
"She’s still here with us, and, according to Isabella, she’ll be with us until she’s 18 years old daw."
Isabella, 6, is one of the couple's two daughters. The other younger one is Gabriela.
Recall that in November 2020, the Padillas surprised their housemaids with an apartment, as part of their assistance during the pandemic.
Mariel also revealed that their household respects their staff's personal time for them to spend as they see fit.
But more than that, she said pertaining to gifts, "Siguro mas iyon, mas compensated sila in that way."

Just this May 2022, the Padilla family spent a month-long vacation in Spain. News immediately surfaced about the lucky househelps who got to travel with them.
The mompreneur shared that two house staff went with them, but another had to take a separate flight.
"Kasi na-late yung VISA niya, e. So siyempre takot na takot siya kasi una na-late yung visa niya.
"Sabi ko, 'Alam mo nakapunta ka na sa Europe dati, naka two times, three times ka na sa America... kaya kaya mo daw mag Spain mag-isa. Alam ni God na ikaw yung may kaya na pumunta on your own.' Kasi siya talaga yung kasama ko lagi so siya yung sanay."
Mariel said all the perks and benefits her housemaids have been receiving were all well-earned.
"Deserved din naman ng mga yayas ko yon, mag ano sila, mag trip din sila. Di ba sarap din ng feeling na ganun na kasama din sila."
