Mercato Centrale: A Gastronomic Feast for the SensesSP visits the newest weekend market in Bonifacio Global Market and shares with you delicious dishes, goodies and treats to fill your tummy and excite your senses.
Something’s cooking at the corner of 30th and 9th street at Bonifacio Global City (BGC) every weekend.
Conveniently located across The Spa, there’s a variety of dishes, goodies and treats that can whet the appetites of both foodies and non-foodies alike.
Whatever you might be craving for, Mercato Centrale, the newest weekend market in the metro, has a variety of edible treats and ingredients for a gastronomic feast. Inspired by the Mercato Centrale in Florence and the Boroughs Market in London, this food haven brings together various concessionaires serving everything from grilled dishes, desserts, delicacies, as well as organic fruits and vegetables for the health-conscious.
Tents are used to divide the market’s three sections of foodie offerings. One tent houses “fresh, organic and healthy” foods, as well as hair and body care products; another “savory and sweet” foods for desserts and breads, and the last tent for “hot and grilled” dishes, from steaks, burgers, tapa, Filipino dishes, gourmet foods and more.
