Let’s face it: distilled bottled water can be costly, but it's a necessity especially if you have small children. If you’re looking for an alternative to bottled water that is practical and convenient, here's one.

Unilever’s Pureit water purifiers come in three variants: the Excella, the Marvella UV and the Ultima RO. Each is equipped with an advanced purification processes that can eliminate 99.9999% of bacteria, viruses and parasites. They also meet the stringent safety standards of the US Environmental Protection Agency.

We particularly like the Pureit Excella as it’s non-electric and is the cheapest of the three. Just pour tap water into the container -- it holds up to 9 pitchers of water -- and soon after, clean and safe drinking water drips into the clear chamber below.

The Marvella UV and the Ultima RO are both electric and, in addition to the 5-step purification process of the Excella, use UV light and Reverse Osmosis respectively to produce clear and clean drinking water.
