  • This Dad Turns All the Funny Things Kids Say Into Cool Illustrations

"I can't have milk. I'm black toast and tolerant."

Kids say the darndest things, and the silliest things, and the most ridiculous things. If it’s downright weird and unknowingly funny, chances are a kid said it.

Good thing for us parents, it’s Martin Bruckner’s pleasure to turn all these sayings into wonderfully done, hilarious illustrations.

He first started out illustrating all the funny things his 3-year-old daughter Harper Grace said and posts them on his Tumblr page Spaghetti Toes. Why Spaghetti Toes you ask? Good question.

“The name “Spaghetti Toes” comes from my wife saying to my daughter “Please don’t put spaghetti between your toes” at the dinner table. I said to my wife, “Did you actually just say those words?” and Spaghetti Toes was born,” Bruckner wrote in a Tumblr post

After that gained some steam, Bruckner also started doing quotes from other people’s kids! Parents from all around the world send the funny things their child says, with a little back story if need be, and he turns them into art.
