Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas have been together as a couple for almost three decades now. Talk about relationship goals!
The celebrity couple first entered into a relationship in 1993 and officially tied the knot on January 23, 2004. On their 29th anniversary, the reel to real-life couple took to Instagram to mark their relationship milestone.
For her part, Gladys shared some throwback photos of them through the years. "From the first pic, 29 years ago, to the last photo. Almost 3 decades!!," she wrote in the caption.
"Yes, it's possible! It wasn't easy, it wasn't perfect, but our faith made us stronger, holding on to what we have that is beautiful and rare. Happy Anniversary bebe @christopherroxas!!," Gladys adds.
Christopher also shared a kilig Instagram post to match his wife's greeting, sharing a romantic photo of them infront of the Eiffel tower. He said, "Bebe minsan lang to..before the day ends just want to say luv u sooo much...salamat sa lahat...bukas bagong buhay na."
The couple has four children together, Christoph, Aquisha, Grant, and Gavin Cale. From childhood sweethearts, Gladys and Christopher are now a happy family of six!
On their 25th anniversary, Gladys and Christopher shared how they maintain a happy and strong relationship.
First, according to Christopher, is communication. "Siguro unang-una nag-uusap kami," the dad of four said. "Ang buhay namin ay hindi na para sa amin, kung hindi para sa mga bata. So bago mo isipin ang sarili ko, isipin mo muna ang mga bata."
Second is intimacy. Gladys says intimacy doesn't always have to mean sex. Sometimes simple text messages "na nakakapagpakilig" or spontaneous dates can do a lot to keep the flame of love burning.
Third is all about handling arguments and misunderstandings. "'Pag may mga bagay na hindi natin kontrolado, 'wag mo nang pansisin," Christopher said, adding there is no use fighting over things you can't resolve and asking questions that have no answers.
Happy anniversary Gladys and Christopher!
