Angelica, Glaiza Recall Enjoying Single Life While 'Parating Na Pala Mga Mister Right'

When Angelica Panganiban made a birthday post for her close friend and fellow actress Glaiza de Castro on January 21, 2023, she shared some of their travel photos together.

Foremost of those travel photos are the ones they took while on a trip to the Himalayan countries Nepal and Bhutan in 2017. At that time, they were just a few months shy of turning 30 and both enjoying the single life.

That's why Angelica wrote in this caption in her birthday post for Glaiza: "Kaya pala ginawa na natin mga masasayang bagay noon. Parating na pala mga mister right ng buhay natin. Happy birthday amigah!"

She added, if a bit concerned, "Payagan pa sana tayo ng pamilya natin gawin tong mga to sa future? Love you bataaah!"

Angelica got her reply from Glaiza in the comments section of her post: "Salamat amigah! Papayagan tayo at gagawan natin ng paraan gaya ng lagi nating ginagawa! Love you jan at see you soooon waaaaaha waaah waaaaaa!"

Today, nearly six years since their Nepal-Bhutan trip, the two friends have found their ever after. Angelica is engaged to Gregg Homan, the father of her baby daughter Amila Sabine, born in September 2022. A month later, Glaiza got married in her groom David Rainey's native country, Northern Ireland.

Angelica recently served as one of the organizers of what seems to be Glaiza and David's second wedding, this time in the Philippines.

Indeed, Angelica and Glaiza enjoyed being single first before settling down. This is a belief also followed, and even encouraged by other women, like Bianca Gonzalez, who now has two kids with husband JC Intal (read here).

As for Angelica's concern about and Glaiza's confidence in continuing their joint adventures, wellness experts agree that taking a vacation is one of the best self-care prescription for moms.
