We assume it’s challenging to hold a proper wedding these days with the looming pandemic and all. There’s just too much to think about, enforcing adequate safety protocols and all that at a huge reception.

It’s either you limit your guests or just hold the entire thing in a venue big enough to fit a hundred people standing at least a meter apart. The latter is possible, but it’ll just be too expensive.
This couple, however, found a workaround: A drive-through wedding reception.
The chapel and reception areas were both open-air venues, so that meant Arjanmar Rebeta (the groom) and Khaye Medina (the bride) could invite more people compared to a closed-venue celebration. With the addition of the drive-through reception, more guests were allowed to join while observing proper social distancing, the groom told reportr.

Judging by the photos, the guests invited for the drive-through reception simply parked along the street and went down to grab a bite from the buffet, which by the way, consisted mostly of street food.
