LJ Reyes Is Engaged! Here Are The Heartwarming Photos Of The Proposal

Mom of two LJ Reyes has just announced her engagement to non-showbiz beau Philip Evangelista on Instagram today, May 30.

LJ shared photos of the proposal, accompanied by a caption featuring the Bible verse from Jeremiah 29:11.

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and hope," the actress wrote.

Celebrities like Marian Rivera, Iza Calzado, and Camille Prats have extended their congratulations to LJ.

Camille said, "Maaaars! So, so happy for you!!! Kaya ka pala nananahimik diyan ah!!!! [heart emojis]"

Her fellow Starstruck alumnae Ryza Cenon and Sheena Halili were both ecstatic about the news. Ryza said, "Awwww gf! Ang saya saya ko para sa'yo!" Sheena, meanwhile, said, "Maaaars! Masayang-masaya ako para sa'yo."

LJ has been in the US with her two children, Aki and Summer, since September 2021 following her controversial break-up with ex-partner Paolo Contis.

The actress has maintained a healthy co-parenting relationship with Aki's father, Paulo Avelino.

However, Paolo has faced criticism after admitting that he has not been providing financial support to their daughter, Summer. Paolo is currently in a relationship with actress Yen Santos.
