Whatever other people say, teen mothers are brave and strong human beings. They endure judgement, most unconstructive and hurtful, while trying to raise their children the best they can.
With the help of Whisper, an app that lets people post anonymous confessions, Buzzfeed has compiled some of the most raw and genuine thoughts of teenage mothers into one video. Some are poignant, some stirring and some are also moving and heartwarming.
One mom says, "I never mention the fact that I'm a mom when I meet people for the sole reason that I don't want to be judged about being a mom."
Another, "I am a teen mother. I will never forget my son, but I regret how fast I had to grow up."
And another, "Being a teen mom isn't something I'm going to defend. I'm not going to go on and say 'Have kids early cause you get to love them longer.' I'll admit it wasn't intentional, but I wouldn't trade motherhood for anything."
