  • Because of the community quarantine, government offices have been operating with a skeleton workforce. If you need to transact with any of these offices, you might face some difficulties since the Civil Service Commission still discourages agencies from requiring all employees to physically report to work, despite some areas transitioning to the general community quarantine.

    Bureau of Internal Revenue

    Things you should prepare before your visit:

    If you are applying for a TIN ID, make sure all your documents are complete. Prepare original and photocopies. (For a list of requirements, click here.) Call the Revenue District Office where your employer is registered to ensure that it is the correct office.

    All transacting members are required to follow health and safety protocols being implemented inside the offices.

    Pag-IBIG encourages its members to conduct transactions through their online service portal Virtual Pag-IBIG. Here are some of the transactions that you can accomplish on the website.

    • Apply for a multi-purpose loan
    • Know the status of your loan application
    • Know the result of your moratorium application
    • Loan payments
    • Deposit or add to your Pag-IBIG Regular Savings or MP2 Savings
    • Ask about Pag-IBIG benefits

    Land Transportation Office

    What to expect during your visit:

    Clients are advised to follow health and sanitary protocols enforced by the agency, including mandatory wearing of face masks and observing physical distancing. Transactions of persons below 21 years old and above 60 years old, as well as pregnant women will only be allowed upon the lifting of the community quarantine.

    If you are applying for a student driver’s permit or a driver’s license, you can do it through the new Land Transportation Management System (LTMS). You can also transact license renewals, requests for revision of records, and request for Certificate of No Apprehension here. Those who are settling traffic violations can pay their fines at any LTO district office cashier or through electronic payment channels and online banking.

    Applying for an NBI Clearance? Register and pay for your applications online through the NBI Clearance eServices website.

    The bureau advises applicants to strictly follow their preferred appointment dates. Wearing of face mask and physical distancing must be observed at all times. Escorts and companions are not allowed.
