Halloween Boogie Statue Dance Put on some danceable Halloween-themed music. Then tell the kids that they are all creatures of the night who are afraid of the sun. When you turn off the light, they must celebrate by dancing. But once the sun rises (i.e. the light is turned back on), they have to freeze until the night comes again. Whoever is caught moving in the daylight is eliminated. The last person dancing wins.
Spooky spin-off: Try this game by having them in pairs! You can adopt the Trip to Jerusalem idea and make them sit down on the chairs (girls sitting on the boys’ laps) every time the music stops. The remaining pair wins.
