5 Days to Halloween!Still thinking of fun and creative ways to style your home this Halloween? Try making apple candle holders!
Halloween isn’t just about the extravagant costumes and the expensive decorations. It could be an opportunity for you and your family to come up with out-of-the-box ideas at a fraction of the cost! Instead of heading to the stores, just pluck out some ordinary household items and prepare some fruit, and voila! You can have that Halloween look without busting your piggy bank.
To make apple candle holders, just carve out the top of your apples, making sure that the circumference of the carved portion and the candles (we recommend tea candles) you will be using are the same. The candle should be snugly in place so that it won’t fall out of the apple or topple sideways and drip into the apple.
Place these along your driveway or on your house’s front steps so that they’ll cast scary shadows on the walls and pavement. Choose apples that don’t wobble.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Note: Never leave them unattended to avoid unnecessary accidents and make sure to snuff them out before hitting the sack.
