This Highest-Rated K-Drama Is Your Next 'When The Kids Are In Bed' ViewingMark your calendars this August!
K-drama moms, we bring you fantastic news! A World of Married Couple, aka the K-drama that everyone hooked until its record-breaking finale episode, will finally be on Netflix Philippines on August 28!
A World of Married Couple started airing on March 27, 2020, on South Korea's cable TV channel JTBC. It became the highest rated cable drama in history and even broke the records set by Crash Landing on You and Itaewon Class, two K-dramas that are already on every K-drama must-watch list (newbie or not).
The Korean teleserye, based on the BBC One drama, Doctor Foster, is about a picture-perfect couple, Ji Sun Woo (Kim Hee Ae) and Lee Tae Oh (Park Hae Joon). They have a teenage son, Joon Young.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWCONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended Videos
Sun Woo is a successful doctor, while Tae Oh is an aspiring movie maker. They live in a small, wealthy, and picturesque suburban town called Gosan and all seems to be going well until Sun Woo suspects that her husband is being unfaithful. That’s where everything starts, but it is not your typical story where the wife hunts for her husband's mistress.
Like most K-dramas, the characters are not one dimensional, and this drama is definitely one of the best ones that we’ve seen in 2020. The lead actress Kim Hee Ae was even awarded the Best Actress Award at this year’s Baeksang Awards for her outstanding performance as Ji Sun Woo. Trust us, you don't want to miss this!
