Amina Aranaz-Alunan and Rafa AlunanHaving immersed himself extensively in statistics and stories on domestic violence, Isaac wanted to drive home several points through the photographs, foremost of which is that women need not be victims. “Domestic violence is a situation, not a problem,” he asserted. “And there’s always a solution to a situation. You just have to stand up. And if you can’t, there are a lot of people who are willing to help you.”

In fact, Avon is raising funds through the sale of the SSS Soft & White Cellulite Minimizer for the entire month of June. Proceeds from the sales are earmarked for its four partner NGOs ―the Women’s Crisis Center (WCC), IMA Foundation, G-Wave and LUNA ―to help with their existing programs and services that support this critical issue.

The Avon Speak Out Against Domestic Violence: A Photo Exhibit by Raymund Isaac will run from June 16 to 19 at the SM Mall of Asia and June 20 to 23 at the SM Megamall. SM Mall of Asia and SM Women’s Committee are Avon’s partners for this initiative.
