Aiko Melendez and Ara Mina Have a 'Hindi Pilit' ReconciliationPlus, watch Aga Muhlach's big screen comeback, see Carmen Soo's latest baby bump photo, and more!
Aiko Melendez and Ara Mina have finally made-up!
After bumping into each other at the wake of entertainment reporter Rommel Placente’s father, the two celebrity moms finally settled their differences. A testament to the reconciliation was the photo Ara posted on her Instagram with the caption, “So good to finally catch up with you after so many years! Hang out soon.” Aiko also posted the same photo on her Instagram and Facebook accounts with the status, “So good to finally talk and chit chat with you Hazel (Ara’s real name). It's been ages!!!” Aiko also remarked how she and Ara were now constantly texting each other, and the “awkward feeling” between them finally gone.
“Hindi pilit” is how Aiko describes the reconciliation in an interview with Pep.ph. “Kasi, when I saw her sa wake, she stood up, sabi niya, ‘Hi’... I approached her, sabi ko, ‘Uy, kumusta ka na?’ E, medyo nagkakahiyaan pa, sabi ko, ‘Tama na, okay na tayo, okay na yun.’ Tapos, I hugged her. Tapos, sabi ko, ‘Okay na tayo, ‘no! Kalimutan mo na yun.’” Entertainment reporter Ogie Diaz also attended the wake and took selfies with the ladies.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Aiko and Ara's conflict began when Ara was accused of being a “homewrecker” when she dated Jomari Yllana, Aiko's ex-husband. In 2011, things went further south when Ara dated Patrick Meneses, the father of her daughter, Amanda Gabrielle, who was previously in a relationship with Aiko. Here’s to more re-friendships! Aga Muhlach is making a big screen comeback!
The last time we saw Aga in a film was in 2012 for Of All Things! But he is finally returning to the big screen with the comedy drama Seven Sundays. The film, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, stars Ronaldo Valdez as a father who suddenly comes to his adult children (Muhlach, Dingdong Dantes, Cristine Reyes and Enrique Gil) with the news he's dying. Feeling guilty for not spending enough time with him, the siblings make a promise to dedicate their Sundays to their dad, which proves to be easier said than done. Seven Sundays is scheduled to premiere in October. (spot.ph)

This terror attack safety video is aimed at kidsADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
As London battles terror attacks, the U.K. police has made a safety video to be shown in schools on what to do if kids ever find themselves in a targeted area. It's the first anti-terror safety campaign aimed at children and teens, says the BBC. It features “tough” individuals -- a member of the royal marines and TV presenter and survivalist Bear Grylls, to name a few -- saying the same thing, “Do you know what I would do in a knife or gun terror attack? I would run, hide and tell.” The main message of the video is simple, clear and easy to remember: “RUN if you can. HIDE if not and TELL the police when it's safe to do so.” (BBC)
