When his wife, actress Jennica Garcia-Uytingco, announced her second pregnancy in December 2017, they were a bit alarmed with the results. "My doctor diagnosed our condition with threatened abortion because I've been contracting on almost a daily basis. While having my trans-v ultrasound, [my] doctor said I was contracting, but I couldn't feel it," she wrote.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Because of her condition, Jennica had to cancel her Kalinga ni Nanay classes in December and January (she advocates natural parenting). The preggo mom hoped "that by February, everything would go smoothly and our family can go back to our usual rhythm," she said. Thankfully, Jennica is now doing great and is back to educating fellow preggos and new moms again.
"Alwyn and I have been trying since January, ever since the year started that is why I just can't contain the joy in my heart," Jennica had said previously. "I appreciate my husband and [daughter] Mori even more now that I am carrying another baby. Both [have] been very understanding of what I am going through," Jennica added.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
The couple went to get their second baby's ultrasound at World of My Baby (W.O.M.B.), a perinatal women's health and 3D/4D ultrasound clinic. They opted for a 2D ultrasound scan, which is the most basic type, through which the doctors can already check on the baby's condition inside the womb.
Jennica is currently about six months into her pregnancy. We can't wait for the arrival of their new addition!
W.O.M.B. offers a whole range of health services, including prenatal screenings, and routine gynecological exams such as pap smear, pelvic and breast exams. It's located at The Podium Mall in Ortigas Central Business District. For more information, visit its website.
